We are an "out of network provider" for all other insurance plans. This means we do not bill insurance. You will pay us directly and we will provide you with a superbill for you to send to your insurance company. They may reimburse you a percentage of your out of pocket costs.
We provide sliding scale fees for psychotherapy clients who opt to be seen by a supervised student or associate. These fees are due at the time of service. All services must be paid for with a debit or credit card only.
All psychotherapy services are currently offered by telehealth only. The coaching sessions can be in-person or telehealth.
Speak with your insurance company before making your first appointment. Ask them:
-Does my health insurance plan cover mental health services?
-Do I have a deductible? If so, have I met it yet?
-Do I need a referral from my primary care provider before I can get psychotherapy?
-What is the maximum number of psychotherapy sessions I'm allowed in a calendar year?
-Can I see an out-of-network provider for psychotherapy?
-Will you accept a superbill from the therapist?
-How much will you reimburse me for each session?
If you bill your insurance, please pay attention to the following:
-Insurance companies determine how many sessions you are allowed in a year. Therefore, they determine the length of your treatment.
-Insurance companies may require a therapist to share your confidential information with them.
-In order for the insurance company to cover the cost of your care, they require the therapist to give you a mental health disorder diagnosis. This diagnosis becomes a part of your permanent record.
